The Guild of St. Peter ad Vincula

I know you must be sick and tired of me talking about all the terrible things happening around us in this world of sin.  The reason I keep coming back to this subject is twofold.  Firstly because we are under a perpetual onslaught of evil coming from every direction imaginable, the world certainly, but even more sickening, from the Church that is supposed to be our Mother.  Instead of guiding us through and protecting us from these attacks, the Church of Rome appears to have joined in with the enemies of God and become one of them herself.  We have had to examine this question, and hopefully have come to the conclusion that as it is impossible for the Mystical Body of Christ to be the enemy of Christ, it follows that the Conciliar Church of Rome is no longer the Mystical Body of Christ and is just one more enemy of God from which we must defend our souls at all cost.  And that is the second reason I continue to repeat my cries of warning—so that we might indeed be aware that behind all these assaults on faith and morality that we are experiencing is the hand of Satan, ever watchful for opportunities to lure our souls to hell.  We must be equally vigilant in our defense of these souls of ours!

Now it came to my attention just yesterday that Archbishop Vigano has written a statement on this very issue.  I haven’t been able to find the original, but the first part of it was included in this week’s blog from Bishop Richard Williamson, formerly of the SSPX and now the patriarch of the Recognize and Resist movement.  Apparently, Bishop Williamson was struck by the importance of Archbishop Vigano’s statement, which was apparently inspired by a broadcast from, of all people, Tucker Carlson, with whom I’m sure you’re all familiar.  Bishop Williamson introduces the Archbishop’s letter by explaining that Tucker Carlson’s central idea “is that secular humanism pretends to be free of any and all religion whatsoever, but this it achieves only by acting itself as a substitute religion.”  In other words, as he puts it, “Men can refuse God, but they cannot live without Him, because it is from Him they come, and to Him that they are all meant to go.”  In short, all the prevalent evils in the world come from one and the same source, the Devil and his human servants, imposing upon us their “substitute religion.”  Once we identify this as the single problem that exists, we need no longer feel overwhelmed by the manifold and diverse ways in which it manifests itself.  We are in reality fighting only one enemy, the religion of Lucifer.

So without further ado, let me read to you the first installment of Archbishop Vigano’s letter…

“In an interview on Fox News titled The Church of Environmentalism, journalist Tucker Carlson has brought to light a contradiction that may have escaped the notice of many, but which is extremely revealing. Carlson recalls that the U.S. Constitution prohibits any state religion, but for some time the governing Democratic party has imposed on the American people the globalist cult. A religion in all respects, all-encompassing, with its green agenda, woke dogmas, cancel culture, priests of the World Health Organization and prophets of the World Economic Forum.

In the name of the globalist religion, its adherents demand that all citizens behave in accordance with the morality of the New World Order, accepting uncritically and with an attitude of devout submission, the doctrines defined ex cathedra by the Davos Sanhedrin. Citizens are required not merely to share the motivations that justify the health, economic or social policies imposed by governments, but to give their blind and irrational assent. It is not allowed to contest the psycho-pandemic, argue the groundlessness of climate alarms, oppose NATO’s provocation of the Russian Federation with the Ukrainian crisis or refuse to stand by as our children are corrupted with LGBTQ obscenities.

The high priests of this religion have even reached the point of theorizing human sacrifice by means of abortion and euthanasia: a sacrifice required by the common good, so as not to over-populate the planet or over-burden public health. Adherence to globalism is not optional: it is the State religion, and the State “tolerates” non-practitioners only to the extent that their presence does not prevent society from exercising this cult. The public act of vaccination represented a sort of “baptism” in the globalist faith, the initiation into worship.

The “church of environmentalism” defines itself as inclusive, but it does not tolerate dissent. Those who do not accept the anti-Gospel of Davos are ipso facto heretics and must therefore be punished, excommunicated, separated from the social body, and considered public enemies.

This State religion has spread to all the nations of the Western world, whose leaders were converted to the globalist “Word” by the apostle of the Great Reset, Klaus Schwab, its self-proclaimed “pope” who is invested with an infallible and incontestable authority. On the website of the World Economic Forum, we find the list of “prelates” of globalism. A very powerful, highly organized network, widespread not only at the top of institutions, but also in universities and courts, in companies and hospitals, in peripheral bodies and local municipalities, in cultural and sports associations, so that it is impossible to escape indoctrination even in a provincial primary school or a small rural community.

Tucker Carlson’s observation highlights the deception to which we are subjected daily by our rulers: the theoretical imposition of the secularism of the State has served to eliminate the presence of the true God from the institutions, while the practical imposition of the globalist religion serves to introduce Satan into the institutions, with the aim of establishing that dystopian New World Order in which the Antichrist will claim to be worshipped as a god, in his mad delirium to replace Our Lord.”

In conclusion, I’ll simply place the Archbishop’s argument in the context of this month’s devotion to our most Sorrowful Mother, the Blessed Virgin Mary.  For she who is the Queen of Martyrs is our Queen too, because we are martyrs.  Perhaps we have not yet shed our blood for Christ her Son, but we are most certainly being persecuted with a venom of hatred unprecedented in the history of the Church, with many signs that it is going to get worse.  As we witness more and more signs that heaven and earth are beginning to pass away, the vengeance of Satan has been unleashed as never before, to the point that even the leaders of our beloved Church have become instruments of the Devil and are trying to destroy it.

Mary is our Mother.  Just as she stood at the foot of her Son’s cross, so does she now stand by us as we suffer these attacks.  She shares our sorrow and our pain.  But she doesn’t share our fears.  She has compassion for our fear, but she does not share it, because she knows that this is all part of God’s plan, eternally conceived, and now taking place before our eyes with an ultimate result that is willed by God.  Rather than expecting her to share our fear, we should rather be asking for the grace to share her confidence in the ultimate triumph of her Son and of her own Immaculate Heart.
