The Guild of St. Peter ad Vincula

It makes no sense for the detractors of our Lord to accuse him of casting out devils in the name of Beelzebub, the chief of the devils.  For many years, people have been racking their brains, unable to understand how anyone could be so illogical as to assert such a thing.  One of the advantages of living in modern times, though, is that we now have before us any number of examples of exactly the same kind of lunacy.  In fact, it’s prevalent among the members and followers of the Democratic Party, who seem to make a point of exhibiting their mental illness to the public at large.  There is no way to explain their words, opinions and behavior other than by acknowledging that they are mentally deranged.  For who but the insane would actually believe that there are more than two genders, that we can choose to identify as a dog or a turtle, that it is wrong to deport illegal aliens guilty of violent crimes, or that throwing Molotov cocktails at people driving to work in their Teslas is a good thing.  Roughly half the population of this country belong in insane asylums.

The good news is that the other half of the country are quite aware of the lunacy and, with the help of the new, improved government, are working to put an end to it.  The bad news is that the Catholic Church is in a far worse position than America.

For two thousand years, the Church built on the Rock of Peter was united in her faith and morality.  Catholics knew exactly what to believe and what was right and wrong.  Now and again, there arose a heretic who denied one or more of the Church’s doctrines and practices, but what did they do?  They chose to leave the one, true Church and found their own, built not upon truth but upon their own erroneous inventions.  These revolts against the authority of the Church were disastrous enough, and yet throughout them all, the Church managed to keep intact her observance of the traditional beliefs, commandments and sacraments.  The Church’s one foundation never wavered and we were never a house divided.  We were one, holy, catholic and apostolic.

To overcome our unity once and for all, and seeing that his attacks on the Church were all failing, the Devil eventually devised a more sinister scheme.  Since the time of the French Revolution and the beginnings of Freemasonry, he began to increase his focus on infiltrating within the Church herself, poisoning the faithful and the clergy, even to the highest levels, with the principles of humanism and modernism.  Eventually, and despite the most earnest efforts of the popes, the modernist clergy succeeded in corrupting Pope Pius XII in his latter years.  This otherwise good Pope ended up appointing modernists to the highest positions in the Church, raising the future John XXIII, for example, to be Patriarch of Venice, the future Paul VI as Archbishop of Milan, and so on.  Worst of all, Pius XII was manipulated by the freemason Annibale Bugnini to change the liturgical practices of the Church, some beyond recognition.  His work continued under the false papacies of John XXIII and Paul VI, eventually succeeding in what was the ultimate aim of the freemasons, the destruction of the Catholic Mass altogether and its replacment with a humanistic act of self-worship, where the altar was turned away from God and towards man, and all references to the Holy Sacrifice were abolished.

Ignoring the age-old axiom that “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” Vatican II quickly demolished all the trappings of the traditional Church until it was no longer recognizable as Catholic.  Many of the faithful were disgusted, dismayed, depressed and angry. But what could they do?  After being taught for so long to submit to the authority of the clergy, there were no avenues open to them to voice their grievances or depose this clergy when it became rancid.  Things got worse and worse, and there are no signs of any reversal to the downward trend in religious practice.  People left the Church in droves, others resigned themselves to the will of the clergy and became modernists themselves, and just a few, a very few, chose to remain faithful to the true Catholic Church.

But what is the nature of this Catholic Church today?  Is it still one?  This is where we need to make a distinction.  We can see that once the cancer of modernism set in, the institutional Church was no longer united.  The new Mass, the changes in discipline, moral laxity, doctrinal ambiguity, and so on meant that on every side the faithful were forced to take sides.  New adjectives appeared to describe the various camps within the Church: were you a conservative Catholic or a liberal Catholic?  Division!  And like any other house that is divided against itself, the institutional Church fell.  It fell into apostasy, just as the Devil had intended, and we few who remain faithful to the true Catholic Church, we are no longer “one” with this Church or its pope.  Conservatives who remain within the Church are nothing more than undeclared apostates, boasting of their unity in faith with Bergoglio and his modernist followers who seek to destroy them and everything they stand for—the perfect example of trying to “cast out devils through Beelzebub the chief of the devils”, or in this case, casting out devils through Bergoglio the chief of the devils.

Real Catholics, on the other hand, still remain one and united, at least in faith and morals.   But to be a “real” Catholic, one must ditch the heretics and apostates.   There can be no unity with them.  Good Catholics within the conciliar Church, who crusade openly against its errors, cannot hope to succeed if they do so in the name of the “beloved Holy Father.”  Why do they pray so ardently for this man’s health and recovery when he is just coming back like the unclean spirit, fortified in his plan to make the last state of the Church worse than the first?  It is time for these so-called conservative Catholics to stand up and defy this agent of hell to his face, deposing him, putting him on trial, and meting out a punishment so severe that no one will ever again attempt what he is now doing.

Meanwhile, is there any good news?  More than you might think.  The victory of God will be made all the more impressive by the fact that so few of the faithful were able to withstand and overthrow the forces of evil in the Church.  The less we are, the weaker we are, the greater our victory when it comes.  And it will come!  Because it is not we, but God, who will bring out our victory.  He promised that the gates of hell would not prevail against his Church.  Our blessed Lady promised that in the end her Immaculate Heart will triumph.  Our victory is assured, when I don’t know, but it will happen.  So we must never despair in the midst of all these terrible injuries being suffered by our Lord’s Mystical Body.  We must remain united, one, not with a heretical pope, but with our blessed Lord himself.  Union with God is ultimately the only thing that counts.  Christ the King will be the Victor, and when that happens, we will all participate in that victory.  “If I,” said our Lord, “with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you.”
