If in private recitation, Lauds be separated from Matins, the Prayer Aperi, Dómine may be said according to custom, and then the Dual Prayer is said in silence, as follows.  Otherwise Lauds begins with the Opening Versicles immediately after the Te Deum (or when the Te Deum is not said after the Last Respond) of Matins, as given below.

Pater noster, qui es in cælis, sanctificétur nomen tuum.  Advéniat regnum tuum.  Fiat volúntas tua, sicut in cælo et in terra.  Panem nostrum quotidiánum da nobis hódie.  Et dimítte nobis débita nostra, sicut et nos dimíttimus debitóribus nostris.  Et ne nos indúcas in tentatiónem: sed líbera nos a malo.  Amen.
